Comedian Elenu calls out Kwam 1 over breach of contract

Comedian Babatunde Akinlami, better known as Elenu, has taken to his social media page to call out fuji Musician, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, over breached of contract.

In one of the posts, Elenu accused Kwam 1 for not showing up for a performance in United States after getting paid.

He wrote, “No time for a long story. Mike Fash, I paid you to deliver K1 De Ultimate for a performance in Atlanta on September 6, 2021. K1 didn’t show up with the dumb excuse that him and his crew need to vaccinated, which is not a requirement to travel as all you need is a negative COVID-19 test.

“Mike gave me two different sets of dates I agreed to in October but all were lies because you all could not secure visas. You and your artiste will pay back the money owed me. None of you will destroy my reputation in this city and hold on to my money.”

Reacting through an Instagram post, Kwam 1 explained that the his trip to United States was stalled because the US embassy in Nigeria failed to issue visa to his band.

He wrote “Very recently, issues about my band going to perform in America erupted some negativity which was communicated to me by concern friends who come across a post where my name was been dragged into dealings with many sub show promoters in America

“Firstly i will like to state here that, I owe my fan’s across the globe a high level of respect, hence the needs for my explanation recently. That my band trip to United States has NOT been canceled. All that is necessary to make the trip a success was put in place.

“Work permit, flight arrangements and other necessary things, except the RIGHT OF VISA approval for those members of the band who needs to obtain that before we proceed. Surely am not in control of approving that Visa but the American embassy here in Nigeria.

“I can understand agitation from many fan’s and music lovers across, but patience is required to get all this bottleneck sorted out with regards to the applicable laws that permit entertainers coming to America. Il still not join issues with non concern persons or groups other than those respected individuals and organizations who is dealing with us directly.

“Social media is free for everyone’s usage, but we are not deviating from the real issues because of some distractors. Either Mr Mike Fashakin of Orbit LLC, who is directly involved with many as the main PROMOTER or myself on behalf of my BAND. 

“No form of hanky-panky is played out concerning this issue Once again as I stated earlier, we owe our fan’s and patrons some degree of respect which gives reason for this explanations again and again. A nice words speaks volume of your intentions rather than been bossy to the instruments that form your rise up to stardom.

“Let us refrain from usage of insultive words in the name of aggression. we have an integrity to protect, hence we will not defraud our fans and friends all over the globe.

“Agent of the 3rd hand parading themselves on social media should stop making issues out of nothing. You cant change what God Almighty has already ordained.

Not satisfied by his response, Elenu called on the Fuji Musician to refund his money.

Elenu wrote “I grew up rocking and Loving your music with very high esteem but you guys need to stop with all this BS you got going on.

“Your manager @orbitent_ Mike Fash said and I quote, Alhaji wants everybody to be vaccinated before you guys can travel that is what Mike told me. And it was confirmed on your page.

“Coming here to now start speaking English. I paid you guys thousands of $$ and your daft manager Mike still hasn’t told me till date that visa was the problem cause he knows the contract he signed with me.

“Instead, he claims it is because you want the entire band to be vaccinated. I want my money back. You guys can as well sell the ATL show to whoever but I will be refunded and in full. I have no time for Rada Rada.”
