Comedian Oluwadolarz Reacts To Rape Allegation
SOCIAL media comedian, Olamide Ogunleye aka Oluwadolarz, has reacted to a rape allegation levelled against him.
It all started when a Twitter user, @unilaganon asked other social media users to expose social media content amplifiers who might have raped or assaulted them in the past.
Shortly after, @unilaganon then shared a message from a lady, accusing Oluwadolarz of raping her two years ago.
The accuser, a 19-year-old, alleged that Oluwadolarz saw her picture on Instagram, and contacted her. She claimed that the comedian mentioned to her that she has a pretty face and would like to feature her in one of his skits.
According to the lady, Oluwadolarz invited her over to his house, where he allegedly drugged and raped her. She also alleged that she had an abortion because of him.
Responding to the rape allegation, Oluwadolarz called on the accuser to come out in the public to show proof, as he’s innocent of the accusation.
While wondering why anybody will want to take advantage of a trend to accuse him of rape at the detriment of his reputation, the comedian promised to press charges against his accusers.
“Why would you take advantage of a trend… Why would you want to tarnish someone’s image … why would you say I r*aped you .. pls just come out with a proof pls,” he stated.
The comedian continued, “This is a false accusation and I will like to press charges because I have never raped anybody in my life. You that sent that message, come out plain, post your picture, post proof, post when I asked you to come down to my house two years ago, post when you accused me of rape by chat. Just post something to tell the world that I actually raped you.
“My name is Olamide, I have never in my life raped anybody and I will never do that.”
Will the accuser be able to provide proof as requested?
