Confirmed: Majek Fashek Hospitalised In London, Needs Help

Veteran reggae star, Majek Fashek has been confirmed by his manager, Uzoma Omenka, to be hospitalised in London following a serious illness.

Omenka made this confirmation through a video posted on Instagram on Sunday.

He said the singer is receiving treatment at Queens Hospital in London, England.

He therefore solicited for the support of fans around the world financially for the musician since according to him, the musician needs money for his upkeep at the hospital.

Omenka further enjoined people to pray for the quick recovery of the veteran singer.

Majek Fashek was one of Africa’s greatest reggae performers. He became prominent in 1988 with his debut album “Prisoner of Conscience”, which featured multiple award-winning single “Send Down the Rain”

The “Prisoner Of Conscience” album sold more than 200,000 copies in Nigeria alone.
