Ifedayo Olarinde, popular media personality , better known as Daddy Freeze, has reacted to music legend 2Face Idibia’s recent public apology following his controversial statement that men aren’t biologically wired for monogamy.
According to Daddy Freeze, the singer’s apology was excessive and should have been brief. He argued that a simple, one-line apology would have sufficed, criticizing the manner in which 2Face expressed remorse.
Speaking in a video posted on his TikTok page, Daddy Freeze questioned whether the singer was being manipulated, suggesting that someone, whom he mockingly referred to as “Jebeto”, may be controlling him.
“2Baba, what is this? What are you trying to turn 2Baba into? Do2dtun was right,we don’t like this version of 2Face we’re seeing. It’s like Jebeto is controlling Pinopi,” he said.

The broadcaster revealed that efforts had been made to meet with 2Face privately, but the singer allegedly declined invitations on three separate occasions. As a result, Daddy Freeze said he felt compelled to speak out publicly.

Concluding his message, Daddy Freeze made a sarcastic plea: “Please, Jebeto, help us release Pinopi allegedly.”
