Cool FM treats 500 children to a day out at the cinema, stage play & goodies
In celebration of Children’s Day and turning 21, the Cool FM Station treated 500 kids to movies, a stage play, and lots of goodies! On the 24th of May, in partnership with Genesis Cinemas, Tambollo and ‘Lend A Helping Hand Africa’, Cool FM celebrated children from different institutions by treating them to a whole day of fun and activities.
The exciting day began at Genesis Cinemas, where each child was treated to popcorn and a drink before getting seated to watch either of the blockbusters, Aladdin or Detective Pikachu. Joyce, Mannie, Taymi B, and Kemi Smallz, On-Air Personalities at the cool station were available to make the day memorable for the kids.
The day continued and ended at Terra Kulture, where the kids watched a brilliant, educating and an uplifting musical play titled “Adio” which taught bravery, selflessness, and disabilities. After the celebration, each child was treated to a healthy breakfast cereal by Kelloggs and goodie bags courtesy of Media Crush.
It was truly a thrilling and unforgettable experience for the kids.
