Counsel for the respondent told the court he did not know when his client was served but received the processes two days earlier. He indicated he intended to file an application seeking to reveal the respondent’s name.

The court, however, directed that the respondent’s response must already disclose the identity of the person behind the account. The case was adjourned to 31 August 2026 for mention.

A certified true copy of the proceedings, stamped by the High Court of Ogun State and bearing the judge’s signature dated 19/8/26, was later shared by Adewale on her Instagram page. In her caption, she described the development as an update on the court case, noting that the court had ordered Instablog9ja to reveal its identity.

The suit forms part of Adewale’s series of legal actions against online platforms and publishers over alleged privacy violations and inaccurate publications. Further proceedings are expected when the matter resumes later this month.
