COVID-19: 50 Cent Gives Update on Jeremih’s Condition

American rapper, 50 Cent, has given an update on Jeremih‘s condition after R&B the singer tested positive to COVID-19.

TMZ, had reported over the weekend, that the singer’s condition had continued to worsen after he was put in an intensive care unit (ICU) on a breathing ventilator in Chicago.

Sharing an update on the singer’s health, 50 Cent wrote on his Instagram page alongside a picture of Jeremih; “Thank you for praying for my Boy @jeremih, he is responsive today, doing a little better.”

 

50 and Chance The Rapper were among the many celebrities who had previously asked for prayers on Jeremih’s behalf.

“Pray for my boy Jeremih he’s not doing good this covid shit is real,” 50 wrote,

Chance The Rapper tweeted, “Please if you can take a second to pray for my friend Jeremih.

“He is like a brother to me and he’s ill right now. I believe in the healing power of Jesus so if you can for me please please say a prayer over him.”

Big Sean also tweeted “Prayers up, praying for your strength Jeremih.”

Born Jeremy Phillip Felton, Jeremih signed a deal with Def Jam Recordings in 2019 after which his debut single, Birthday Sex peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, leading to his self-titled debut album released in June that year.

His latest project, a collaborative album with Ty Dolla Sign titled MihTy, was released on August 24, 2018.
