COVID-19: Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Tests Positive
Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has tested positive to COVID-19.
As the infectious disease continues to spread, the 42-year-old took to her Instagram page to give an update on her health status.
“Hello all, I know most of you have been wondering where I’ve been. Well, I contracted COVID. I have been ill in Isolation and now getting better. More details of this soon,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
Recall that a month ago, the actress revealed that her husband, a pilot, Mathew Ekeinde, had flown their two children in a private jet from the United States, a high-risk country, into Nigeria.
According to her, they were stranded in the United States because of the Covid-19 outbreak.
With this development, Jolade-Ekeinde has become the third Nigerian celebrity to contract COVID-19.
Veteran singer, Azadus, in June 2020, shared his COVID-19 recovery experience.
A month after, singer Mr P, a member of the defunct Nigerian pop group, P-Square, disclosed that he tested positive to COVID-19, alongside his wife, Lola, and daughter Aliona.
