
Popular socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has clarified that he voluntarily stepped down before the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the Orsu/Orlu/Oru East Federal Constituency in Imo State and did not participate in the poll.
In a statement shared, Cubana maintained that he withdrew from the race ahead of the primary, distancing himself from reports of a heavy defeat. The clarification comes after initial reports claimed he scored only 14 votes against the incumbent, Hon. Canice Moore Nwachukwu.

Despite the development, Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, publicly consoled his associate with an encouraging message: “Bro sometimes by losing a battle, you find a new way to win the war. Keep your head up, we know what you are capable of achieving.”

However, the situation took a personal turn as Cubana’s baby mama, Kenyan businesswoman Hellen Ati, used the moment to mock him publicly. In an Instagram Live session, she celebrated the reported loss, dancing and taunting him over ongoing personal disputes, including allegations of unpaid child support.
