Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has lashed out at a social media user who tried to dictate what he should post on his page.
The drama started after the singer shared a simple post showing his plate of plantain and eggs, but a user on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) felt it was not something Davido should post on the platform.

The user, identified as @ahiwe_ik, had written under Davido’s post saying, “This type of thing should be going on his Snapchat.”
Davido, who did not find the comment funny, replied angrily. He wrote, “Ur very stupid… nah u go tell me wetin to do with my life. I never see this kind thing before… I can’t post my plantain n eggs again… wtf y’all be on fr.”
The tweet quickly went viral, drawing thousands of reactions from fans who took sides in the online argument. While many of Davido’s supporters defended him, others felt he overreacted.
Some fans argued that Davido, being a superstar, should have the freedom to post whatever he likes without being policed by random social media users. Others, however, felt that as a global artist, he should maintain a certain image online.
