Davido Celebrates His Friend, DJ Olu, On His Posthumous Birthday
Days after Davido expressed grief over the sudden death of fellow musician and longtime friend, DJ Arafat, the singer has taken to social media to celebrate DJ Olu who left the world in 2017.
Davido once disclosed that DJ Olu had plans to “take over the world” before he was snatched by the hands of death two years ago.
In a remembrance post on his Instagram post, the singer sent a message to the late DJ, saying that he had taken over the world on his behalf.
He wrote: “Think about you everyday!!! Long live OLU !!!!! We’ve taken it worldwide for you brother !!! ❤️❤️🌏🌏🌏🌏 HBD 👼”
While many express concern over the singer’s ability to “take it all in”, the “Aye” crooner took to his page few hours later to share a video of him diving into an ocean with excited voices in the background.
