Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, now plays a major role in managing his finances.
The singer made the revelation in a video that has since gone viral on social media.
In the clip, Davido was seen trying to transfer money to his longtime personal assistant, Lati, but was unable to access his account details.
Davido said during the call: “Hello, hello baby, good morning, my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t log in; I don’t know why. The service here is poor. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija; I love you.”
In a bid to resolve the issue, the award-winning artiste immediately reached out to Chioma for assistance, prompting streamer Davreltv to ask if his wife had taken over the responsibility of handling his money.
Davreltv asked: “So your wife has been managing the money?”

Responding to the question, Davido confirmed that Chioma now manages his finances, joking that the arrangement was necessary because of his tendency to spend money freely.
Davido replied: “Of course, you know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that.”
