Davido is the highest paid Nigerian celebrity on Instagram

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke better known as Davido, has emerged the highest paid Nigeria celebrity on Instagram.

According to Hopper HQ, Davido is on 53rd position in the 2021 Instagram rich list.

The singer’s Instagram account which has 20,408,979 followers has a cost per post worth $128,300(N52,805,714.00).

Also on the list is Yemi Alade who ranks number 67 with more than 14 million followers and makes an estimated $88,100 (N36,260,198.00).

She is followed by actress, Funke Akindele Bello on number 70 who has over 13 million followers and makes $83,600 (N34,408,088.00).

Also, Tiwa Savage ranks number 74 and makes about $78,600 (N32,350,188.00). Wizkid follows at number 79 and makes about $77,000 (N31,691,660.00).

Actresses Mercy Johnson and Mercy Aigbe make about $65,300 and $61,500 and ranked number 90 and 92 respectively.

Davido is the second highest in Africa just after Mohammed Salah, Egyptian and Liverpool star.

Topping the list is Juventus player, Cristiano Ronaldo, with 295,984,958 followers and a cost per post worth $1,604,000.

Davido rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut studio album Omo Baba Olowo (2012). 

Davido released his second studio album A Good Time in November 2019, supported by singles including “Blow My Mind”.

He was cited as one of the Top 100 most influential Africans by New African magazine in 2019. Also, He released his third studio album A Better Time, on Friday 13 November 2020
