Davido Joins Comedy Central Roast Panel
Nigerian musician, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is on his way to become the first Nigerian panelist on Comedy Central Roast.
The Roast is a popular show on American TV’s Comedy Central channel. It features a selected panel consisting of celebrities as well as popular comedians who trash an honoured guest in good humour using personal and professional artilleries.
Comedy Central’s partners outside the United States of America, since 2010, have occasionally produced their own Roast shows.
The long list of Roasted celebrities includes William Shatner, Pamela Anderson, David Hasselhoff, Bruce Willis and Flavor Flav.
The show’s organizers shared in a statement that Davido will be joined by other celebrities like Mark Fish, Nina Hastie, Francois Van Coke, Joey Rasdien, Papa Penny, Pierre and Moshe and Peal Thusi as the Roast Master.
To this development, Davido commented, saying that he is such a big fan of Comedy Central. He said: “This is going to be a hilarious night. I’m ready, Africa are you ready? This is a Roast so nothing is off limits!”
