Davido offers scholarship to Ghanaian with excellent WAEC results
Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has offered a Ghanaian, who had A1 parallel in 2021 West African Examination Council, scholarship.
Davido made the announcement on Wednesday through his Twitter page.
On June 21, an internet user solicited support for Suleyman with an excellent result in WACE who had not proceeded in his academic pursuit due to a lack of funds.
In response, Davido requested that they help find the boy.
He wrote “Please locate him for me?”

In a subsequent tweet, the singer announced that he had offered him a scholarship at Adeleke University while displaying his WACE results.
The scholarship will also cover Suleyman’s accommodation and allowance for the duration of his program.
He wrote “We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke University. Accommodation and allowance included! God bless y’all.”
In May, Davido slammed an Italian show promoter for allegedly duping him.
He said despite selling seven thousand tickets, havoc entertainment did not pay him his balance.
He said “We overwork our bodies, blood sweat and tears daily to keep up and deliver these shows for our fans, only for people to take our craft and hard work for granted.
“I fly private 90 percent of the time but due to logistic issues we couldn’t get a landing permit on time.
“So I even the decided to take almost three connecting flights to get here. We get here and promoter has did not keep up to his own part of the agreement.
“He has soid thousands of tickets but doesn’t want to pay me! Normally it’s no balance, no show.
“I’ve been at the hotel for the past four hours waiting for either cash or a wire…still nothing!”
He added “How do you sell seven thousand tickets but you don’t have my balance, you fraud? Havoc entertainment. I know how many people used their last to see me! So because of that I will do the show!!”
