Uche Maduagwu, the controversial Nollywood actor, has joined the online debate over Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola’s three-continental weddings.
eelive.ng reports that Since Friday, September 5, social media has been buzzing with reactions, as many Nigerians compared the Otedola-Eazi wedding to that of Davido and Chioma in Miami, USA.
Maduagwu, known for his outspoken nature, claimed that Davido’s wedding stands on a higher level.
According to him, Davido’s in-laws did not contribute any money to his marriage with Chioma, unlike Mr Eazi whose father-in-law, billionaire Femi Otedola, reportedly bankrolled the lavish celebration.
He alleged that Davido even turned down financial support from his billionaire father, who was said to have begged him to accept $15 million for the Miami wedding.
Maduagwu went further to question how much Mr Eazi personally contributed to his own wedding, which was said to have cost about $15 million.
Speaking via Instagram, he wrote, “Don’t ever compare #Chivido2025 with Mr Eazi’s wedding. Davido’s in-law never contributed money to his wedding. Davido’s father allegedly begged him to allow him spend $15 million, but Davido said no. They said Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi’s wedding cost $14 million.
