Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has stirred fresh reactions online after sharing what appeared to be the alleged West African Examinations Council (WAEC) result of Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo.
The singer posted the document on his Instagram Story on Friday without adding any caption, leaving many social media users to interpret the move as a subtle response to the governor’s recent criticism of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Okpebholo had taken a swipe at Adeleke while campaigning for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the August 15 Osun governorship election, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO.

Speaking at the campaign event, the Edo governor mocked Adeleke’s love for dancing, claiming the Osun governor dances before carrying out official duties and even before eating breakfast. He questioned whether the governor’s style of leadership reflected the seriousness expected of a public office holder.

Davido, who is Governor Adeleke’s nephew, has remained one of his uncle’s strongest supporters throughout the election season. Beyond attending campaign activities, the award-winning singer has repeatedly urged political stakeholders and residents to ensure the forthcoming poll is peaceful, free and credible.
Although Davido offered no explanation for the post, his decision to share the alleged WAEC result has generated widespread debate across social media.
