Ayotomide (Ayo) Labinjo, the alleged baby mama of Davido and mother of Anu, has broken her silence with a powerful and emotional rebuttal following her daughter’s public plea for a DNA test and Davido’s firm denial of paternity.
In statements that quickly spread across Instagram and other social platforms today, Labinjo firmly rejected the labels often attached to her. She described herself as a former waitress who met Davido during a brief encounter at an Ibadan club in 2013, leading to the pregnancy. She stressed that she is neither a baby mama nor someone seeking financial gain or fame from the Adeleke family.

Labinjo directly challenged Davido’s claim of multiple DNA tests, insisting that only one was ever conducted in 2014 at a small clinic arranged by Davido’s father.
She alleged serious irregularities during that process, claiming she witnessed money being handed over in a brown envelope between Davido and the doctor resulting in what she believes were falsified negative results.
She dismissed reports of tests at multiple hospitals as misinformation, partly spread by Davido’s former lawyer Prince Bobo Ajudua, who she said was not involved at the time.

Labinjo made it clear she wants nothing material from the situation, no money, no marriage, no ongoing connection.
She also stated that the singer bullied her daughter and threatened to reach out to the US embassy: “David chatted my daughter tonight threatening to lock me up, cursing Anu and repeatedly bullying her.
David is a US citizen. I will request the US State Department to contact the Embassy in Lagos or Abuja to help us supervise and witness a clean independent DNA test. I will not say much for now. Citing Davido’s U.S. citizenship.”
