D’banj: ‘I’m Innocent of Rape Until Proven Guilty’
EMBATTLED singer, Dapo Oyebanjo aka D’banj has insisted that he’s innocent of the rape allegation levelled against him.
Recall that some weeks ago, D’banj was called out on social media and accused of rape. After over a week of silence, D’banj responded, saying the rape allegation was false and an embarrassment to his wife.
In a new post on his Instagram page, the Olorun Maje singer maintained that he remain innocent until proven guilty.
“Innocent until proven guilty…., stop the social media trial. Say no to rape and human rights violation,” he wrote.
D’banj is currently under investigation by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) over the alleged rape.
