D’banj trends on Twitter after an appearance on Nigerian Idol

Popular Nigerian music star D’banj became one of the most-talked-about celebrities on micro-blogging website, Twitter, after an appearance on Nigerian Idol season 7.

D’banj began trending on Twitter after making his first appearance as a judge on the show following the exit of DJ Sose and Seyi Shay.

Fans of the Kokomaster do not seem to get enough of him as he was number two on Nigeria’s Twitter trend list.

The fans applauded the organisers’ decision to bring the self-acclaimed entertainer on board. 

A fan wrote, “Dbanj on his own, will make the Nigerian Idols trend… His facial Expressions ehn.”

Another fan tweeted, “Ahhhh Dbanj you will need more than one night… And I was a bit moody before, see me laughing my ass out whoever made Dbanj the judge made the right choice… He is hilarious funny plus comedian too ooo.”

“Whosever made Dbanj part of the judges made a very good decision,” a fan tweeted.
