Nigerian comedian, Deeone, has stirred reactions after he claimed that award-winning singer Davido, invited the enemy of activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) to his white wedding.
As earlier reported by eeliev.ng, Davido recently held his white wedding in Miami, USA, weeks after his lavish traditional wedding in Lagos. The event was attended by top celebrities, politicians, and business moguls from Nigeria and abroad.

However, speaking in a video shared on social media, Deeone said he noticed something unusual about the guest list. According to him, Davido failed to invite VDM, who had publicly supported him in the past, but chose to invite Pinovibes, a man believed to be on bad terms with the activist.
Deeone also pointed out that other people who have clashed with VDM in the past were at the wedding. He mentioned popular blogger Tunde Ednut, nightlife entrepreneur Obi Cubana, and socialite Dre, all of whom were seen enjoying the celebration in Miami.
The comedian described Davido’s decision as “petty” and suggested that the singer may have done it intentionally. He added that the choice of guests sent a clear message, even if it was not openly discussed.
“Davido no invite VDM for him wedding, but he invite Pinovibes wey be VDM enemy. Even Tunde Ednut, Obi Cubana, Dre wey no dey like VDM, all of them dey there. Davido na the most petty musician wey I don see,” Deeone said jokingly.
VeryDarkMan had earlier attended Davido’s traditional wedding in Lagos, where he openly celebrated the singer and praised the event. Many fans had expected that he would also be present at the white wedding, but his absence became a talking point after pictures and videos from the event went viral.
