Desmond Elliot Receives Certificate of Return to Lagos State House of Assembly
Nollywood actor and director and politician, Desmond Elliot is in celebratory mood as he receives his certificate of return to the Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Surulere 1 Constituency.
Mr Elliot shared this news and a picture of himself holding up the certificate on his Instagram on Friday.
He wrote: “To Him be the Glory , Honour , and Adoration . Received my certificate of return. I’m grateful to Surulere for this privilege. I’m humbled and I assure you that I’ll give my best at representing you . Congratulations to my Rt Hon Speaker @mudashiruobasa and Honourable colleagues . May we together take Lagos to greater heights.”
The Returning Officer, Bolajoko Dixon-Ogbechi, of the University of Lagos declared Desmond Elliot winner of the Lagos State House of Assembly election at the Surulere Local Government Collation Centre in Lagos on March 9, 2019.
