The family of late Afro-fuji singer Afeez Adeshina, popularly known as Destiny Boy, has alleged that they are facing financial hardship following his death.
In a video circulating on social media, the singer’s father and sister noted that they have made several attempts to unlock his phone without success.
The family said they took the phone to Computer Village in Lagos, but technicians could not unlock it.

Destiny Boy’s sister alleged that the singer, while he was alive, had changed his password after discovering countless withdrawals from his bank accounts.
She also claimed the singer’s wife has no knowledge about his phone password, leaving the family without access to the phone or his banking details.
According to her, all attempts made to collect money from him bank has yielded no positive result and has worsened the family’s financial condition with no mention of the late singer’s wife and son.
The singer’s sudden death in January 2026 at the age of 22, raised debates on how celebrities manage their health. The debate rose higher after his sister earlier alleged that he was poisoned.
His mother has since maintained that he died after battling a prolonged illness and dismissed speculation linking his death to ritual practices.
