Son of renowned filmmaker Kunle Afolayan, Dieko Afolayan, has opened up about an alleged sexual harassment experience involving a reporter.
In a viral video widely shared on X, the filmmaker’s son tagged it “Story time: S3X for Cover page”. He claimed a male reporter approached him in April, telling him they wanted to feature him on their wellness and lifestyle page, but demanded sex in exchange.

Afolayan noted that before the sex thing, the reporter, after asking him for some details in April, disappeared and reached out again in May, turning the tables around and asking personal questions, which made him suspicious.
Moving forward, the young Afolayan said: “I’ve really come to a point where I’m starting to question if I really still want to be in public eye, especially with the fact that I was still talking about how much of struggle it is to be effeminate in this society.”
He clearly stated that this version of him, which not everyone would like, is something he has accepted, and he is less concerned about what people will say.

The story comes at a time when Dieko has faced previous scrutiny over his personal style and identity, though this latest claim shifts focus to alleged misconduct in media circles.
