DJ Cuppy Threatens to Sue Davido’s Aide
Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as Cuppy has said she will be suing Davido‘s aide, Afeare Isreal, over claims that she owes singer, Zlantan Ibile money.
Some weeks ago, Zlatan had claimed he doesn’t know Cuppy. after she alleged that the singer had blocked her for over 10 months; due to reasons unknown to her.
She tweeted: “10 months later and I sometimes still wonder why Zlatan Ibile blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram without ever saying why; we were actually friends and “Gelato” was a hit!”
Weighing in, Israel claimed Zlatan blocked the daughter of billionaire, Femi Otedola; because she failed to compensate him for the success of her 2019 hit song Gelato.
“Kudos to someone like Zlatan, who took a bold step by flushing a full fake friend like Cuppy who was just using his head all in the name of my papa na Otedola. Zlatan did a hit collabo with her, ordinary one kobo, he no see,” he had alleged.

Responding to Isreal’s claim, the DJ said that there was no contract breach; between her and Zlatan Ibile for the song Gelato. She vowed to sue Isreal for defamation of character.
“For the record… There have been no breaches of my contractual agreement regarding the song #Gelato as confirmed by lawyers… However, as @IsrealDMW publicly inaccurately declared I owe an artist money, I am suing him for libel and defamation! See you in court Isreal,” she wrote.
