Social media commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has stirred fresh conversations around the ongoing scandal involving TV host Frank Edoho, his estranged wife Sandra Onyenucheya, and singer Chike.
In widely shared posts and videos, VDM highlighted the potential career fallout for Chike, noting that the artist’s primary income comes from high-profile wedding performances.
According to VDM: “Chike’s biggest bookings are weddings. He charges anywhere from ₦50 million to ₦70 million per performance, but those wedding bookings are about to stop.” He also advised Frank Edoho against taking the matter to social media and urged Chike to seek “serious cleansing,” citing moral and spiritual consequences of involvement with another man’s wife.

Netizens, however, disagreed with VDM, noting that he wants to be seen everywhere and thus fails to do proper research into how much the artist charges for weddings. Here are netizens’ reactions:

Edoho claimed he confronted the singer, who reportedly apologised at the time. Sandra, responding to the allegations, pushed back with accusations of emotional abuse and infidelity on Edoho’s part, further fueling public debate.
