Big Brother Naija star Pere Egbi has shared a heartfelt advice aimed at single women in Nigeria.
Taking to his verified X handle, the charismatic actor and fitness enthusiast cautioned against living alone, stressing that safety should outweigh the appeal of independence.
In his post, Pere stated: “To all the single young ladies in Naija, please don’t live alone. Always have someone with you, a friend, sibling, cousin, anyone trustworthy. Living alone as a woman is not the flex many think it is.”

He argues that having company provides emotional support, shared responsibilities, and crucially, someone who can respond quickly in a crisis. While many celebrate the freedom and self-sufficiency that comes with living alone, Pere urges a reality check: privacy is valuable, but peace of mind and physical safety matter more.
