Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has released the much anticipated ‘Water & Garri’ Extended Play (EP).
The talented singer announced the release of her new project on Friday through her social media page.
The five-track Extended Play features guest appearances from an international cast such as Nas (United States), Brandy (United States), Amaarae (Ghana), Tay Iwar (Nigeria), and Rich King.
The 5-track project is a follow-up to the award-winning singer’s hit 2020 album “Celia“.
The project has been endorsed by Rap mogul Pharrell Williams. The Hip-Hop icon described a song off ‘Water & Garri’ as “A classic.”
The project includes tracks such as Work Fada [ft. Nas and Rich King], Ade Ori, Tales by Moonlight [ft. Amaarae], Somebody’s Son [ft. Brandy], Special Kinda [ft. Tay Iwar]

Tiwa Sava released her debut studio album Once Upon a Time on the 3rd of July 2013. It featured seven singles such as ‘Kele Kele Love’, ‘Love Me (3x)’, ‘Without My Heart’, ‘Ife Wa Gbona’, ‘Folarin’, ‘Olorun Mi’ and ‘Eminado’. Also, the album got nomination for Best Album of the Year at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and for Best R&B/Pop Album at The Headies 2014.
On 19 December 2015, Savage released her second studio album, ‘R.E.D’. It yielded two singles: ‘My Darlin’ and ‘Standing Ovation’. In June 2016, Savage signed a management and publishing deal with Roc Nation. In September 2017, she released her debut EP ‘Sugarcane’. R.E.D and Sugarcane have both been nominated for Best Album at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
