Dremo: ‘Davido And Ycee Have Settled Their Rift’

AFRO-pop music star, Davido, and rapper Ycee have settled their rift. This is according to Dremo, a DMW rapper.

Recall that about three weeks ago, Davido and Ycee both traded words on social media, following the release of Dremo’s album, Codename Vol. 2.

The brawl started when Davido acknowledged a tweet from a music fan who said Dremo is the best rapper in the game. Surprisingly to many, Ycee thought otherwise, saying the Risky singer should not get ahead of himself.

“David and YCee have also settled the stuff,” he told Pulse.

Opening up on his relationship with Ycee, Dremo said; “We met in Ibadan some years ago – this was before he blew up with ‘Jagaban.’ He came to my house and played Mortal Kombat. Two weeks after that, YCee blew up – that’s my brother. The last time we spoke, we had to clear the air by speaking our minds to each other.”

Commenting on the heated supremacy controversy between him and Ycee, Dremo explained, “I felt he was feeling some type of way and taking jabs at me in his music and he felt I was feeling some type of way and taking jabs at him in my music. The thing is, we understand each other and this game. Everytime we speak, my mind opens up.”

Meanwhile, on his part, Ycee had clarified that Dremo remains his brother irrespective of the supremacy controversy music fans are putting up against them.

According to the Alhaji singer, he is happy about Dremo’s success so far and he expects more accomplishments from him.

Now that both artistes have said there is no bad blood between them, will fans put the supremacy controversy aside?
