It was a day of extravaganza on Saturday, September 27, 2025, when the mother of Music legend 2Baba, Mrs Rose Idibia, marked her 70th birthday in style.
At the grand celebration held in the heart of Abuja, there was a show of what can only be described as a convergence of luxury, faith, music, and impact.

In a video that surfaced on social media, the celebrant is seen dancing while her son, 2Baba, serenades her with beautiful music. Mrs. Idibia is also seen cutting a giant cake as the audience cheers her joyfully.
The singer had earlier celebrated his mother, expressing deep love and gratitude, whilst thanking God for the gift of her life.
He wrote, “Words cannot capture what I feel and wish for u, my beautiful mother. Today is your special day. I thank the Almighty God for the blessing of you.
“You are simply amazing. I love you yesterday, today, and forever. Mom. Happy 70th. Let the celebration begin. GRATEFUL. MOM@70. MAMA2BABA@70. MAMALEGENG@70. ABUJA STAND UP. Y’all, pls wish my sweet mother a blessed birthday”.
