The upcoming Nollywood film EVI has unveiled its official cast. Produced by Judith Audu Productions in collaboration with Switch Visuals, the film is scheduled for a nationwide cinema release on March 27, 2026 and will be distributed nationwide by FilmOne Entertainment. The film features a strong lineup of leading and emerging Nollywood actors.
Leading the cast is Osas Okonyon, marking her first lead role in a feature film. She is joined by Uzor Arukwe, Omowunmi Dada, Ibrahim Suleiman, Michael Ejoor, Tomiwa Tegbe, Waje Iruobe, Jay On Air, Ariyike “Dimples” Owalagba, Femi Branch, Gbubemi Ejeye, VJ Adams, and other rising stars. Each actor contributes a distinct energy to the film, promising a performance that will captivate audiences and bring the story of EVI vividly to life.

Crafted by celebrated writer and director Uyoyou Adia, EVI stands out as a female-led Afrobeats musical, a genre rarely represented in Nollywood. It explores themes of resilience, community, and self-belief, brought to life by a cast that mirrors the vibrancy and talent of contemporary Nollywood.

The film blends drama with music in a way that feels fresh and deeply rooted in contemporary Nigerian culture. Afrobeats plays a central role in the story, shaping the emotions and journey of the characters rather than serving as just background music.
Powered by CcHUB, in partnership with Africa No Filter, and supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, EVI is poised to push the boundaries of Nollywood storytelling while delivering an emotionally rich and inspiring cinematic journey.
