Falz and Toni Tones to Host the 2019 Future Awards
The 14th Annual Future Awards is here again and this year, the hosts are no other than rapper Falz and actor Toni Tones. The pair will be joining season hosts Taymesan and Khaffy.
Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana and Toni Tones will be the main hosts of this year’s Future Awards. The theme for this year’s event is “Nigeria’s New Tribe”.
It will celebrate young enterprising Nigerians who have done exceptional work in their respective fields.
Also, the event is awarding those who have positioned themselves as symbols of a new tribe of exemplary Nigerians.
The Future Awards Africa (previously known as The Future Awards), are a set of awards that The Future Project (TFP), a social enterprise communications firm, an affiliate of Red Africa, presents to them.
The awards celebrate young people between the ages of 18 and 31, who have made outstanding achievements in the year under consideration. Forbes has described the awards as “Nigeria’s most important awards for outstanding young Nigerians”.
Nominees in this year’s award include Burna Boy, Teni, Falz, Ifedayo Durosinmi-Etti, and Timini Egbuson. Also, Sandra Ezekwesili, and over ninety others, with the list from the Central Working Committee (CWC) cover 21 categories.
The idea for the awards was conceived by Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams in 2005
The event will hold this Sunday, 24 November 2019 at the Balmoral Event Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos.
