Falz Unveils Production Company and Comedy Web Series “Therapy”

Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana AKA Falz the Bahd Guy has launched a film production company House21TV and their debut release is a comedy web series titled Therapy.

Last week, Falz announced the news on Instagram; saying, “I’m super super excited as this is something I have always wanted to do. I recently set up a Film & TV production company @house21tv with the aim of bringing you artistically sound & thoroughly entertaining content.”

Falz called the stories he will be producing “outside-the-box, peculiar, and original”. Read the full announcement below:

The pilot episode of the comedy web series which premiered August 7, stars Toke Makinwa, Josh2funny, Bovi and Falz. It follows the story of a dysfunctional couple who attempt to resolve their marital disputes.

Since his breakthrough into the music industry, Falz has featured in many Nollywood productions; including Chief Daddy, the Merry Men franchise, Your Excellency, Jenifa’s Diary, and 10 Days in Sun City.

The 29-year-old rapper is popular for comically using an exaggerated Yoruba accent and has served as the comic relief in nearly all the movies he has acted. This talent earned him the comedy and music concert The Falz Experience; which is currently featured on Netflix.
