The family of late Nollywood actress Allwell Ademola has officially confirmed her death.
Adegboyega Adebayo, in a statement on behalf of the family, disclosed that Allwell died on Saturday, revealing that information about her funeral will be announced in due time.
The family also cleared the air surrounding the age of the late actress, disclosing that she was 49-years-old as at the time of her death.
“With heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, and aunt, Princess Allwell Ademola, who departed this life on Saturday, the 27th day of December, 2025, at the age of 49,” the statement read.

She was also described her as a dedicated creative who left a mark on the entertainment industry. “Princess Allwell Ademola… was a gifted and passionate creative.
From childhood until her passing, she distinguished herself as a thespian, actor, singer, and filmmaker, touching many lives through her art, talent, and unwavering dedication to the creative industry,” they said.
They also thanked those who have offered support since her death. “The Ademola family sincerely appreciates the overwhelming love, prayers, and messages of condolence from her colleagues, friends, and well-wishers across the world during this difficult time. Your support has been a great source of strength to us,” the statement added.
Following the announcement, tributes have continued to pour in from colleagues in both Yoruba and English film sectors.
