Fans go wild over Adekunle Gold’s ‘Sinner’ video
Top Nigerian musician and Songwriter, Adekunle Kosoko, better known as Adekunle Gold, has released the video of his new song ‘sinner’. He announced this using his verified social media pages on Thursday.
The video features his musician wife, Simi. The video features the married couple in different romantic positions; in the bedroom, on a car bonnet, and in a pool. And this has sent fans of the highlife musician into a lovestruck frenzy.
One fan, @Hauwa_L, wrote, “If you watch that Adekunle Gold sinner video and you’re single, you will just be crying anyhow. Even now, I have catarrh.”
Another, @Huseintunde wrote, “Just wondering, is there something Adekunle Gold doesn’t do well? ‘Cause this ‘Sinner’ is a masterpiece.”
The video is coming after his latest single ‘sinner‘, which was released two weeks ago. It features American singer, Lucky Daye. It was also produced by Blaize Beats.

Acccording to Gold, the song was inspired by the Bible story of King David and Bathsheba. “I thought about the intimacy between them. I know it’s weird, but I thought about how Bathsheba must have been so badass to entice King David so much that he was going to risk it all for her,” he stated.
Gold went on to say that, “I know it’s a story people talk about that shows the frailty of David. But I chose to see it as that she must have been so beautiful, so I thought to write about it that way.”
The video now stands at over 200 thousand views on video streaming platform, YouTube. Polish photographer, Magdalena Wosinska, produced the video.
“Sinner” is Adekunle Gold’s second official single for 2021, following the release of his previous single, “It Is What It Is.”
