FBG Duck, US Rapper, Shot Dead in Chicago

American rapper, Carlton Weekly, professionally known as FBG Duck, has been shot dead.

The 26-year-old rapper was killed on Tuesday while he was shopping in Gold Coast, Chicago.

According to Tom Ahern, spokesman for the Chicago police, the incident was a “drive-by shooting.” He stated that an unknown number of shooters came out of two tinted cars and opened fire on three victims in front of the store.

The shooters fled the scene in a black Ford Taurus and silver Chrysler.

Duck sustained gun shot injury on his chest, groin and neck and was later pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

It was gathered that the two other victims, an unnamed 36-year-old male and a 25-year-old female; are in serious conditions at the hospital where they are being treated.

FBG Duck grew up on the South side of Chicago. He was a member of the rap group Fly Boy Gang, this was he got the abbreviation “FBG” in his name. He shot into limelight in 2017 with the release of his hit single, Slide.
