The popular traditional restaurant Iyanaladuke, owned by the estranged wife of Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, Omotayo Adebayo, has been sealed off in Yaba, Lagos, following an alleged bank repossession over unpaid loans.
Viral videos and photos circulating on social media platforms, including X, shows armed security personnel stationed at the premises, with the building taped off and the business forcibly closed.
This move, was carried out by bank-recovered enforcement teams after the property defaulted on loan repayments.

Reports from verified sources, claims the restaurant space was used as collateral for a bank loan. Allegations roaming round the social space says that Femi Adebayo originally acquired the business premises for his then-wife but reportedly used it along with possibly their family home as security without her full knowledge or involvement. Following missed payments, the bank proceeded with repossession, leading to the dramatic takeover.
As of now, neither Femi Adebayo nor Iyanaladuke has released an official statement confirming or denying the specific details of the loan, the bank involved, the outstanding amount, or the exact nature of the collateral arrangements. A check on Iyanaladuke’s page on Instagram shows that the estranged wife had posted a day ago that the restaurant will be closed till further notice, however this move has drawn concerns from her fans and questions left unanswered.
