
Femi Adebayo’s film ‘Seven Doors’ won four awards at the 2025 Best of Nollywood (BON) ceremony.
The 17th BON Awards took place on Sunday night at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu, Surulere, Lagos.
Media personalities V.J Adams and Kiekie hosted the ceremony.
At the event, Femi Adebayo’s film ‘Seven Doors’ stood out by winning four awards.
The awards included “Best Series,” “Movie with the Best Cinematography,” “Best Use of Costume,” and “Best Production Design.”

Another big winner was the film ‘Black Out,’ which won “Best Actress” and “Best Actor.” Farmer Bride also clinched ‘‘Movie of the Year,’’ alongside ‘’Director of the Year.’’
‘Seven Doors’ received nominations in 10 categories.
The Netflix original Yoruba film, released in 2024, explores tradition, power, and generational curses.
The story is about King Adedunjoye, a reluctant ruler who must face his ancestors’ mistakes to save his kingdom from a curse.
