Popular Nollywood actress Bose Alao has lost her home in Lagos due to a fire outbreak.
The actress reported that the incident occurred on May 30th and mentioned that her neighbors stood by her side, helping to fight the flames until firefighters arrived.
Alao assured the public that her family is safe and expressed her gratitude to her Maker.
She emphasized that despite this tragic event, she still celebrated her children’s birthday and Eid al-Adha, reminding herself that even amid such challenges, life continues to provide reasons to be thankful.
In a video shared on her social media, Alao expressed her relief that no lives were lost in the fire.
She wrote: “Grateful beyond words.Exactly 1 week yesterday, Friday, May 30th, our home caught fire, but by God’s grace, no life was lost.
“Yesterday, we celebrated our children’s birthday and Sallah, a reminder that even through the flames, life continues to give us reasons to be thankful.
“Our entire neighbourhood stood with us, fighting side-by-side even before the arrival of firefighters. To everyone who helped, comforted, and supported us: thank you.
“My family is safe, but we’re starting over. I pray God sends support to help ease the financial burden on my husband and me as we rebuild the affected areas. Please keep us in your prayers”
