Iyabo Ojo, the Nollywood actress, has taken to social media to express gratitude to God for sparing her life and that of her workers following a fire incident at her office.
The 47-year-old actress via her Instagram page on Tuesday night shared the news, saying, “This just happened today the 8th of July 2025 around 7pm. My office building caught fire.”
The video shared by the mother of two captured the extent of the damage caused by the fire. Burnt furniture, scattered debris, and smoke-blackened walls were seen in the short clip.
Thankfully, the Lagos State Fire Service truck were on the scene to put out the fire. The actress also appreciated the fire service, and her staff for their quick response in containing the situation.

“Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully no lives were lost,” she added.
The actress who did not disclose the cause of the fire, noted that how God intervene even though the devil tried to test her, she said, “The devil tested us today but God said no. With God on my side we will bounce back bigger and better.”
