Five Books You Should Read This June

Sometimes deciding what books to read is even more difficult than finding the time to read. So here is a carefully thought out list for all book lovers with a thirst for something both classic and unique:

THE  LINE OF BEAUTY by Alan Hollinghurst- this emotionally charged, off the limit British novel, is for book lovers looking for something different from the usual.

THE WHITE TIGER by Aravind Adiga- travel through the mind of this witty writer and explore the class struggle in India, in this debut classic.

THE OVERSTORY by Richard Power- described by the New York Times Review as “a monumental novel about trees and people by one of our most prodigiously talented novelists.”  This book should find its way into your list and eventually; your heart.

IMAGINE ME GONE by Adam Haslett. This 2016 novel shortlisted for the Pulitzer prize for fiction, is about a coupe, Margaret and John who marry despite John’s depression. Lara Feigal, writing for the Guardian described Adams writing as “finely adapted for each of the character.”

THERE THERE by Tommy Orange- It is time to travel through history in the words of this beautifully crafted debut novel, that was a finalist for the Pulitzer prize for fiction.
