Forbes Strips Kylie Jenner Of Billionaire Status
AMERICAN business magazine, Forbes which branded reality TV star, Kylie Jenner as the “youngest-ever self-made billionaire,” has stripped her of the title in a dramatic fashion.
In a blistering report titled Inside Kylie Jenner’s web of lies — and why she’s no longer a billionaire, the magazine claimed the youngest member of the Kardashian family, was “inflating the size and success of her business.”
The report read in part; “But in the deal’s fine print, a less flattering truth emerged. Filings released by publicly traded Coty over the past six months lay bare one of the family’s best-kept secrets.
“Kylie’s business is significantly smaller and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.”
According to the magazine, Jenner’s ‘realistic’ wealth is just under $900 million, and she forged her tax returns.
Forbes, therefore, slammed the reality star turned makeup mogul throughout the story, and the rest of the family, including momager Kris Jenner, who it said perpetuated the lies.
Refuting the Forbes report, Jenner said she has never lied her way for the sake of any title. And according to her, there are a lot of things more important to her than debating her wealth portfolio.
Recall that in 2019, Forbes named Jenner as the youngest self-made billionaire at the age of 21. According to the magazine, the mother of one amassed a personal net worth of $1 billion through her make-up line, Kylie Cosmetics.
