Former #BBNaija Housemate, Angel Leaves Entertainment For Politics
The Big Brother Naija reality show has produced a considerable number of stars, ranging from business moguls to TV presenters, buoyant entrepreneurs and social media influencers.
Unlike some other shows, housemates who are evicted at the early stage in BBNaija, still get to become a voice in the “online community”; one of such housemate is Angel.
Ex-BBNaija housemate of the ‘Double Wahala’ edition (2018), Angel Awotarigha has declared his intention to run for office this year.
According to a post on his Instagram, Angel will be joining the current Deputy Governor and other aspirants to contest for Bayelsa 2019 Governorship election, scheduled for November.
The Bayelsa-born aspirant noted that it is time to become the change we all seek, without wasting any more time.
He wrote, “The reality of life is that power is never given, but always taken. The time of talking about a better Nigeria is gone, now is the time for action. Let us be the change we want to see.It is with this realization that I announce my candidacy for the 2019 Gubernatorial race in Bayelsa state. Let there be light”.

The election is scheduled for November 16, 2019; Angel is however, yet to disclose the political party he will be contesting under.
