A disturbing video has emerged of Sammy, Regina Daniels’ brother, in police custody, sparking concerns of foul play and injustice.
Sweezy, Regina’s older brother, shared the video on social media, alleging that Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina’s husband, is attempting to have Sammy remanded in Keffi Prison.

In an emotional plea, Sweezy accused Nwoko of trying to silence Sammy for speaking out against domestic violence towards Regina Daniels. “They’re trying to disorganize our agenda… Ned is trying to remand my brother in Keffi Prison for fighting against domestic violence,” Sweezy wrote.

Sweezy’s comments reveal the gravity of the situation: “Sammy has had nothing to eat or drink since he was arrested. Nobody is allowed to see him. Ned said if Regina doesn’t come back home, Sammy will not be released. If anything happens to Sammy, hold Ned Nwoko responsible. You can’t do this in a civilized country.”
Sammy’s family is demanding his immediate release, citing lack of evidence and concerns for his safety. “He’s got a child and a family that depends on him… He no thief, he no kill, why treat him like a criminal?” Sweezy questioned.
The Nigerian Police Force has been urged to ensure Sammy receives a fair hearing. Regina Daniels’ supporters, including celebrities, are rallying behind the family, calling for justice and Sammy’s freedom.
Sweezy has called for a nationwide protest, urging Nigerians to stand with his family. He also revealed that a petition against Ned Nwoko is being investigated by UK authorities.
