A close friend and family associate of Big Brother Naija stars Teddy A and BamBam who is also an award-winning filmmaker Onyeka Nwelue, has firmly dismissed swirling breakup rumors surrounding the popular couple.
Nwelue addressed the speculation head-on via his X account, putting an end to claims that the marriage was in trouble. The rumors gained traction after fans noticed that Tope Adenibuyan Teddy A and Bamike Adenibuyan BamBam, had unfollowed each other on Instagram, prompting widespread online discussions about a possible split.
“Hello, folks! Teddy A and BamBam are still together. Nothing has happened to their marriage,” Nwelue stated clearly in his post. He emphasised his personal connection to the couple.

Nwelue further shared that he maintains regular contact with the family. “I chat with this family every day, when I get the time,” he wrote, underscoring his insider perspective. He concluded with a direct plea: “Stop spreading lies.”
Teddy A and BamBam, who first connected during the 2018 season of BBNaija, have built a life together over the years, including raising children and pursuing individual careers in entertainment.
While neither Teddy A nor BamBam has publicly commented on the unfollowing incident or the recent rumors, Nwelue’s statement seems to give social media users relief.
