From Starboy to Soundman: Wizkid Releases Surprise 7-Track EP
It’s the last month of the decade and Nigerian artistes seem to be dropping new music to properly punctuate 2019. And Starboy Wizkid is no exception as he has dropped a 7-track EP titled “Soundman”.
‘Soundman’ is a 7-track EP with songs like ‘Ease your mind’, ‘Thankful’, ‘Electric,’ and ‘Mine’. Other songs on the project are ‘Cover Me,’ ‘Blow,’ and ‘Jam.’
Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid released the musical project in the early hours of Friday the 6th of December, 2019.

This is the first extensive project Wizkid has worked this year. For most of 2019, Wizkid’s activities included releasing singles and features, stealing stars away from the Headies, selling out the O2 arena in London and performing all over the world.
The album has collaborations with Chronixx, Blaq Jerzee, DJ Tunez, and Kel P. On October 1, 2019, Wizkid released his hit single, ‘Joro’ and then released ‘Ghetto Love’ a few weeks after.
With his impressive track record, there is a tendency for fans to judge with the backlight of past successes. But, let’s hope this EP lives up to expectations.
