Funeral service for Rico Swavey to hold October 20
The family of late reality tv star, Rico Swavey, has announced burial rites for the entertainer.
In a statement by the family and management on Tuesday, Swavey will be laid to rest on October 20 in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
Night of tribute and candlelight walk for the reality tv will hold on Thursday, 19th October while church service will hold at Methodist Church of the Trinity in Lagos State the following day.
On October 13, Rico Swavey died after getting involved in a ghastly accident.
48 hours before his death, Alex Asogwa better known as Alex Unusual announced through her Twitter handle that the reality tv star was involved in a motor accident.
Alex further asked for prayers as doctors battle to resuscitate Swavey.
She wrote “Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today.
”He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital.
”It’s really critical. I’m staying positive.#PrayForRicoSwavey”
Subsequently, his management released a statement that Rico Swavey was on life support.
The management said “Hello everyone, Rico Swavey is not disposed to handle his socials right now as he was involved in a ghastly accident and is currently on life support. While his situation is critical and doctors are on him, We implore your support and prayers.”
