Funke Akindele, Naira Marley, Others Risk Jail Term Over Lockdown Violation
Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele alongside Naira Marley, and other persons who were at the recently-held house party to celebrate JJC Skillz‘s birthday, might be facing jail time.
EELive had reported that some celebrities including Naira Marley and Eniola Badmus; were at the house party despite the ongoing coronavirus lockdown order in Lagos.
After a heated controversy on social media regarding the house party, the Lagos State Police Command have arrested the talented actress.
While JJC Skillz has turned himself in to the police after the arrest of his wife; Naira Marley and others are yet to report themselves to the police, and may soon be declared wanted as threatened.

What awaits Funke Akindele and others?
In a new development, Akindele may be prosecuted today, April 6, 2020. The actress has been charged before Ogba Magistrate Court 1 in Lagos alongside her husband.
Confirming their arraignment in court, Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana said; “The husband arrived at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) around 2:00 am and they will be arraigned together.”
If eventually convicted, as instituted by Lagos Infection Diseases Regulations 2020; Akindele and the birthday boy may go to jail for one month or have to pay a N100,000 fine or both.
There is also a clause that could see the actress and other persons who were present at the party pay up to N200,000 fine.
Meanwhile, the actress had explained the circumstance of which she and her husband hosted the house party; and at the same time tender an apology for their action.
