Funke Akindele Releases Game app for Comic Character ‘Jenifa’

Actress Funke Akindele has released a game feature out of her comic character ‘Jenifa‘. Pioneering a new trend, the game, ‘Jenifa Spells‘ is her latest innovation.

The mobile game invites players to learn how to spell words correctly. It is an extension of the Jenifas Diary franchise. However, it seeks to help improve the player’s vocabulary. Hence, bringing friends and families together competing to get to the top of the leader board.

The game will be appealing to fans of the comic series Jenifas Diary. In addition to players competing to get to the top of the leader board, Jenifas Diary theme song and her voice keeps cheering players on while they play.

Interestingly, the creation of the game comes in full support of Funke Akindele‘s husband, Abdulrasheed Bello, better known as JJC.

Funke Akindele‘s statement upon the game’s release : “ I (Jenifa) I’m out with a game now. We are launching the ‘Jenifa Spells’ which teaches people how to spell. It is an educational game that was developed by our team.”

This is not the first time the actress and her husband will be teaming up to the delight of their fans. They both work together in producing their movies especially Jenifa’s Diary which gained so much recognition and public acceptance.

Funke Akindele is the CEO of Scene One Production. Scene Production was launched 3 years ago. It is a content production company for television stations and movies. It also has entertainment platforms – www.sceneone.tv and a mobile app for watching TV series, Nollywood movies, TV shows and music.
