Genevieve Nnaji returns to social media with stunning photos
Nollywood veteran Genevieve Nnaji has returned to social media after months away.
Fans flocked to the movie producer’s Instagram page after she shared a series of photos from the premiere of her film I Do Not Come To You By Chance.
The premiere took place on September 7, 2023, at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Genevieve shared the absolutely stunning photos she took on the event’s red carpet and at other points on the day of her movie premiere.
The actress captioned the photo, “I Do Not Come To You By Chance. #tiff23,” with the title of her film.
This comes after some fans noticed her at the event, looking happy and waving at them.
This is the actress’ first Instagram post since December 2022, when she shared a disturbing post on the platform, which bothered her fans and well-wishers at the time. She then deleted all of her previous posts and unfollowed everyone she had previously followed.
It’s worth noting that in May 2022, rumours began circulating online that the actress was suffering from mental health issues, and her team quickly shut them down.
She had been absent from social media and the acting scene since her last film, Lionheart, was released five years prior. Her only appearance on social media was on her birthday in May 2023, when she posted on Twitter to commemorate the occasion.
Previously, the renowned actress made only one public appearance, at the 2022 Creative African Nexus in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where she spoke to diplomats about the importance of fostering growth in Africa’s film industries. The legendary actress appears to be making a comeback.
